I have Africa all over my hand.

Today's Moment of Movie Brilliance: During the chaotic, climactic argument at the end of A Shot In The Dark, Peter Sellers suddenly turns around to look directly into the camera, exasperated. Genius.

peter sellers has made me laugh the hardest in my fairly prolific quest for comedic genius (a room, that is what i said you eediot & the parallel bars scene) and he has also starred in some of the worst movies ever--Casino Royale and The Magic Christian spring to mind quite violently...

hi chris and nicole hope you guys are doing great!

Peter Sellers as Quilty in Lolita was effing brilliant. That final scene between Quilty and Humbert Humbert was probably what saved that movie from being another really wretched awesome-novel-turned-horrible-film. Yes, even though Kubrick did it, and even though Nabokov did the script himself.

Chris--I loved Nicole's "my life in links" page. In loose honor of the Covers Project that I learned about from there, one of my interns is from Lubbock and now works in Dallas. I work in Dallas and went to Edisto Island last year and that's all I've got.
